The return period begins on the date the order is delivered to you. A return request must be submitted within the applicable return window.

Cakeen currently accepts eligible returns from customers located in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Standard returns are not offered for orders delivered to other countries unless required by applicable law or Cakeen confirms an exception in writing.

Customers in other supported shipping destinations should contact support@cakeen.com if an order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise presents a problem. We will review the circumstances and any rights available under applicable law.

This does not affect any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

To qualify for a standard return, the item should generally:

• Be returned within the applicable return period.
• Be in substantially the same condition in which you received it.
• Be unused or not materially used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.
• Include original components, accessories, manuals and other items supplied with the product where applicable.
• Include original packaging where reasonably available.
• Be accompanied by proof of purchase or the applicable Cakeen order information.

Cakeen may request photographs or other information before authorizing a return, particularly for large, high-value, damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered products.

Items returned without first following the applicable return process may experience delays or may not be accepted where permitted by law.

To begin a return request, email support@cakeen.com and include:

• Your order number.
• The name used on the order.
• The item you wish to return.
• The reason for the return.
• Photographs or other supporting information where relevant.

Our support team will review your request and provide applicable return instructions.

Please do not send a product to an address without receiving return instructions from Cakeen first. The appropriate return destination may differ depending on the product, fulfillment location, supplier or order.

For a standard return resulting from a change of mind, preference, sizing or another reason not caused by an error with the order, the customer may be responsible for applicable return-shipping costs unless Cakeen states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

If an eligible return results from an incorrect, damaged or defective item, Cakeen will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

Any applicable return-shipping instructions or charges will be communicated as part of the return process.

Please inspect your order after delivery. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective or materially different from what you ordered, contact support@cakeen.com as soon as reasonably possible. Please provide:

• Your order number.
• A description of the issue.
• Clear photographs of the product.
• Photographs of the packaging where relevant.

For verified issues, Cakeen will review the available resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, return or another appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Do not dispose of a damaged item or its packaging until Cakeen has provided instructions, if we have requested that they be retained.

Certain products may not be eligible for a standard change-of-mind return where permitted by applicable law, including:

• Items that have been materially used, damaged, altered or modified after delivery.
• Products missing significant components or accessories due to the customer’s actions.
• Personalized or custom-made products where identified as such.
• Gift cards.
• Items specifically marked as final sale or non-returnable before purchase, where legally permitted.
• Products that cannot reasonably be returned for hygiene, health or safety reasons once opened or used, where applicable and legally permitted.

Statutory rights relating to defective, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods are not limited by this section where applicable law provides such rights.

Cakeen does not guarantee direct exchanges for every product.

If you would like a different item, size, color or variation, contact our support team to determine what options are available for your order.

Depending on the circumstances, the simplest process may be to return an eligible item and place a new order separately.

If you need to cancel an order, contact support@cakeen.com as soon as possible.

We will attempt to assist, but cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has entered processing, fulfillment or shipment.

If an order can no longer be cancelled, you may need to wait for delivery and then request an eligible return under this policy.

If Cakeen cancels an order before fulfillment after payment has been successfully collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Inspection and approval

After an authorized returned item is received, it may be inspected to confirm its condition and eligibility. If the return is approved, we will initiate the applicable refund. If there is a material issue affecting eligibility, Cakeen may contact you for additional information before completing the request.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless another method is required or agreed upon in accordance with applicable law. Once Cakeen has processed a refund, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to post the funds to your account. These external processing times are outside Cakeen’s direct control.

Original shipping charges

Original shipping charges are generally not refundable for standard change-of-mind returns unless Cakeen states otherwise or a refund of those charges is required by applicable law. Where a refund relates to an incorrect, damaged, defective or otherwise non-conforming order, applicable shipping charges will be handled according to the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

Partial refunds

Where permitted by applicable law, a partial refund may be considered if an item is returned in a condition materially different from the condition in which it was delivered due to customer handling, missing parts, damage or other circumstances affecting the item’s value. Any deduction will be assessed reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.

Refused or undeliverable packages

Orders returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal of delivery, failure to collect a shipment or another customer-related delivery issue may require additional review. Where permitted by applicable law, actual shipping or return costs incurred as a result may affect the amount eligible for refund. Please ensure your delivery information is accurate when placing your order.

The delivery times shown above are the estimated delivery windows for the shipping methods currently offered by Cakeen. Business days generally exclude weekends and applicable public holidays.

We work with our suppliers, fulfillment partners and shipping carriers to have orders delivered within the estimated timeframe for the selected shipping method. However, delivery estimates are not an absolute guarantee. In uncommon circumstances, delivery may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, carrier disruptions, customs processing, transportation delays, incorrect or incomplete addresses or other unforeseen events.

Orders may require processing and preparation before they are handed to the shipping carrier. Where processing time applies separately, please consider both processing and transit time when estimating when your order will arrive.

Shipping rates are calculated according to your destination, selected shipping method and order value. The methods available for your order are displayed at checkout.

When tracking information becomes available, you may receive a shipping confirmation containing your tracking details. You can also use Cakeen’s Order Tracking page to check available shipment information.

Please allow some time after receiving a tracking number for the carrier’s tracking system to display the latest movement.

International orders may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes, brokerage charges or other fees imposed by the destination country or relevant authorities.

Unless Cakeen or checkout specifically states that such charges are included, customers may be responsible for applicable import-related charges imposed after the order enters the destination country. Customs processing can also occasionally affect delivery times.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order. Please carefully check your name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state or province, postal code, country, phone number and other required delivery information before submitting your order.
